How is you data used and processed?
Sozo NI processes data containing names and contact information including telephone numbers and email addresses. To allow us to prepare for a session and tailor the information we give you, we will also ask for additional information, however, this is not mandatory to provide. As a Christian ministry, the data we process is likely to constitute sensitive personal data because the very fact that we process your data at all may be suggestive of your religious beliefs. We will comply with our legal obligations to keep personal data up to date; to store and destroy it securely; to not collect or retain excessive amounts of data; to keep personal data secure, and to protect personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure and to ensure that appropriate technical measures are in place to protect personal data. What is our legal basis for processing your personal data?
Most of our data is processed because it is necessary for our legitimate interests to enable our ministry aims and provide a direct service to you. For example, preparing for your Sozo session and contacting you to arrange the session or ask for feedback.
Will we share your data?
You can be reassured that we will treat your personal data as strictly confidential. It will only be shared with other team members for the purpose of the Sozo session and any communications between team members and/or session notes will be deleted or destroyed after the Sozo session. Information is only held on Google forms and emails. This is encrypted and password/Touch ID protected. We will not release your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. For the avoidance of doubt: we do not share your information with anyone for marketing or advertising.
How long will we keep your personal data?
Our general rule is to keep data no longer than necessary. We will carry out an annual process of review and remove data that we no longer require to hold.
Access to Personally Identifiable Information
You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. If you would like a copy of the information held on you, please contact us. If the personally identifiable information you have provided us with changes, or if you no longer wish us to possess such information, you may at any time request correction, updating, or deletion of your information by contacting us.
